Questions, answered.

What happens to my photo?

Your device's original file never leaves your computer — your browser prepares a standardized copy, and that copy is what we receive. We keep it with your pet so they can keep learning new tricks, and it's deleted when you delete your pet.

Which platforms does she live on?

She lives on both macOS and Windows, right on top of your apps. One account covers both of your desks.

What if it doesn't look like my pet?

Every trick runs through automatic checks, and anything that fails is rebuilt once on our side. If we can confirm a finished trick went wrong in production, write to us and we'll rebuild that one; and if a trick we were making can't be finished, you don't lose that pick. Whether they truly look like your pet is partly a matter of taste, though — we don't re-roll a trick just because it isn't quite how you pictured it. Until your companion is fully delivered, you can ask for a full refund at any time.

What happens if I cancel?

They stay, and every trick they've learned stays too — forever. Cancelling only stops new ones.

Can I have more than one pet?

One pet per account in this first release — we'd rather get a single companion completely right. More pets are on the list for a later version.

Which pets do you support?

Cats and dogs shine brightest today, but any pet with a clear face photo works — rabbits, hamsters, birds, even your bearded dragon.
